Peachtree City, GA – Beloved children’s author Carole Marsh will be signing books on December 12, 2011 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Mimi’s Haunted Book Shop, located at Gallopade’s Peachtree City offices. Gallopade, a local publishing company that specializes in children’s books and educational products, will be featuring Marsh’s books, including her award-winning children’s mysteries, Real Kids! Real Places!. The in-house bookshop gives local kids, parents, grandparents, teachers, and fans the chance to shop all of Marsh’s books before meeting the author herself on December 12.

Marsh’s two latest releases are now available for purchase at Mimi’s Haunted Book Shop: WHEN KIDS TAKE OVER NASA, a tween/YA novel, and The Mystery of Mimi’s Haunted Book Shop, the most recent addition to Marsh’s award-winning Real Kids! Real Places! educational children’s mystery series.

The Mystery of Mimi’s Haunted Book Shop holds a special place in local readers’ hearts as the only Real Kids! Real Places! mystery to be set in Peachtree City, GA. A satisfied Peachtree City resident for more than a decade, Marsh is known for her remarkable ability to communicate with children. The spunky local author has distinguished herself with a prolific writing career spanning the past 30 years, producing what amounts to a library of material to entertain and educate children of all ages. Her works include nine mystery series, grades K-8 social studies curriculum products, and several digital whiteboard programs. Another local favorite by Marsh is The Peachtree City Night Before Christmas.

The Carole Marsh book signing will be held Monday, December 12 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Gallopade offices. Fans can order their books ahead of time, or browse and purchase from the bookshop. Marsh will be present to meet readers and sign autographs. The event is free and open to the public.

The combo curriculum product showroom/bookshop is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for holiday shopping, and otherwise by appointment.
