“Real Kids! Real Places! began its journey in 1979, after teachers in Beaufort County, North Carolina insisted that I write ‘some book, any book!’ to get kids to quit watching television and get back to reading,” shares award-winning author Carole Marsh. “I decided to write a mystery.
