Award-Winning Series is Truly
America’s National Mystery Book Series!

(PEACHTREE CITY, GA)—For the last 30 years the award-winning Real Kids! Real Places! series has been one of the top selling children’s mystery book series for ages 7-14 in the nation! With six new titles just added to the 34 book series, it has become so popular that it has outgrown its name. Real Kids! Real Places! has grown into America’s National Mystery Book Series!

“Real Kids! Real Places! began its journey in 1979, after teachers in Beaufort County, North Carolina insisted that I write ‘some book, any book!’ to get kids to quit watching television and get back to reading,” shares award-winning author Carole Marsh. “I decided to write a mystery. Within hours of books hitting the shelves, I had a phone call from a young reader demanding, ‘I read that one. It was great. When is the next one coming out?’ ”

“The response to this series from young readers all over the nation is truly amazing,” says Marsh. “I am so excited about the six new titles we have recently added to the Real Kids! Real Places! America’s National Mystery Book Series, reaching kids from Buffalo, New York to Honolulu, Hawaii. In fact, I am so excited that I have already started the research on six more books coming out later this year.” With this incredible growth, new eye-catching covers have been developed to help reflect the rising stature of this highly successful series.

Carole Marsh’s Real Kids! Real Places! America’s National Mystery Book Series encompasses 34 titles with six more coming out later this year. This series, which won Learning Magazine’s Teacher’s Choice Award, features real children visiting real places across the United States. All Carole Marsh Mysteries incorporate unique features that expand their educational value, including SAT words, an online book club and fun activities, along with having assigned Accelerated Reader quizzes, Lexile measures and Fountas & Pinnell Guided Reading levels.
