INTERNSHIPS

Company Description

Gallopade International is an international book publishing company located in Peachtree City, Georgia (about 30 miles south of Atlanta). Founded in 1979, Gallopade publishes more than 15,000 educational products for children and adults. We specialize in social studies products, and also publish both fiction and nonfiction books.

Job Description

Internships may be available in the following areas:

  • Sales and Marketing / Public Relations
  • Research / Writing
  • Web Design / Graphic Art
  • Illustration

Gallopade interns receive actual hands-on involvement with every aspect of the publishing industry. The experience an intern gains by working with our professional staff is an invaluable asset that places the intern ahead of other candidates once they enter the job market. Internship is a great opportunity to build your portfolio and expand your skills.

Gallopade interns are expected to create their own portfolio and are encouraged to include copies of the projects and assignments they accomplish while working with Gallopade. If an intern’s work is printed/published, the intern should file a request with his/her supervisor for a final copy.

Gallopade internships are unpaid positions. Interns normally work between 20 and 40 hours per week for 2 to 3 months. Flexible to work with school schedules.
