Gallopade International | 7 Ways to Make Teachers Feel Stpecial!

7 Ways To Make Teachers Feel Special!

Whether teaching takes place in the classroom or at home, teachers are important!  We’d like to share some creative ideas (that are also easy and inexpensive) that you can use to show your teacher customers just how much you care!

Roll out the red carpet with “7 Ways In 7 Days” for Teacher Appreciation Week May 3-9!

  • Monday:  Carry on the tradition of “A” for Apple and set up a basket full of shiny, red apples for your teachers to enjoy while they’re browsing in your store.

  • Tuesday:  Today is Teacher Appreciation Day!  Pull together some popular teacher’s resources or school supplies in a gift tote and draw a winner!

  • Wednesday:  Partner with local businesses -- grocery stores, office supply stores, restaurants, salons -- gather coupons and gift certificates to stuff a goody bag and give them to your first 5-10 teacher purchases each day.

  • Thursday:  Make a Teacher Appreciation Day card with a large poster board.  Have all your employees sign it and set it on the checkout counter or on a floor easel at the front door!

  • Friday:  Place a vase full of daisies at the register and spring a free flower on teachers when they make a purchase!

  • Saturday:  Decorate your store with bright, colorful balloons and put a discount coupon in each one (10% off your purchase!) – pop and shop!

  • Sunday:  Set up a table with a bowl full of fortune cookies and a sign, We’re “fortunate” to have great teachers like you!If you have ideas that you would like to share, we would love to hear from you!  Just click HERE and tell us how you celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week.  We’ll post it on our website for others to see and use.  Let’s make teachers feel all tingly inside!
