Carole Marsh Named Georgia Author of the Year
Michele Yother, President of Gallopade International, announced today that Carole Marsh has been named Georgia Author of the Year for Children’s Books by the Georgia Writer’s Association.
Marsh, a native Georgian, was awarded the title at a formal banquet held at Kennesaw State University. She was especially recognized for her many educational children’s mystery books which feature real locales as settings and, often, real children as characters. Her Pretty Darn Scary mystery book, The Ghosts of Pickpocket Plantation, received special recognition.
What her publisher calls “the new real-life Nancy Drew!” has garnered many awards in the past few years for her Carole Marsh Mysteries. Midwest Book Review called her mysteries for children 7–14 “true gems of education and entertainment for young readers.”
Marsh’s mysteries feature built-in book clubs, SAT words, and are all on Accelerated Reader. Learn more at carolemarshmysteries.com.
