Announcing the winners of our 2008 Haunted House Photo Contest!

First prize goes to Luke B., age 9, of Round Rock, Texas, for this spooky photo of a deserted farmhouse. Lucky Luke will soon receive his autographed copy of The Mystery of Dracula's Castle and other fun prizes!
First runner-up award belongs to Emma H., age 9, of Dickerson, Maryland for this picture that looks like it's from another era!
Second runner-up award goes to Rita M. of Seixal, Portugal for this picture of, well, you'll just have to decide for yourself!
Every entry was outstanding. We are very proud of the excellent teamwork, and loved hearing from so many wonderful and talented people! But SOMEBODY had to win, right?

Shiver me timbers! We be mighty glad to announce that Captain Stephanie Hudson and her 4th grade class at Elsie Collier Elementary in Mobile, Alabama, are the winners of the Creepy Crawly Classroom Contest, and will be featured in Real Kids Real Places #20 – The Counterfeit Constitution Mystery! They really went overboard! Author Carole Marsh will be visiting them soon, with a bounty of treasure! Can you guess what their theme was? Arrgh!
